Description
The Fall 2012 issue highlights two recent decisions and features several important updates. This edition welcomes the two newest Judges to the CAVC; Coral Wong Pietsch and Margaret Bartley. Included is a “Message from the President of the CAVC Bar Association, James Ridgway, in which he discusses expanding the leadership circle by increasing the size of the Board of Governors, outlines upcoming changes that will impact veterans law, announces expanded student outreach efforts, and highlights the largest NVLMCC to date—scheduled for November 2012. This issue also celebrates the success of the Veterans Law Conference held on June 15, 2021, offers a review of "This is London" by Edward R. Murrow, and examines the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012, with explanations of its seven titles and key sections. Additionally, a brief overview of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates, Inc. (NOVA).
