Description
Special ceremonial session of the CAVC for the investiture of Judge Kasold and Judge Hagel. The ceremony was presided over by Chief Judge Kramer and held at the U.S. District Court's 3rd and Constitution ave Ceremonial Courtroom.
The judges were joined by their families and they were formally commissioned by Raul Yanes, associate counsel and special assistant to President Bush.
Senator Arlen Specter spoke on behalf of Judge Kasold and administered the oath to him.
David Isbell, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program, spoke on behalf of Judge Hagel.
Both Judge Kasold and Judge Hagel finished the ceremony by making statements.
